| As you drive your car, try to be aware of normal sounds from the engine, tranmission, exhaust system and tyres. If you hear unusual sounds, please listen carefully so you can describe them to us. Unusual or extremely loud sounds - Which we call "noises" - can tell our Service Technicians about your vehicle's problem. These descriptions of noises will help you give accurate answers to questions about noises. |

Clang: Heavy sound of metal to metal, like a gong |
| Groan: Continuous, low-pitched sound, like a person groaning, can be cyclical |
Growl: Low, guttural sound, like an angry dog |
| Click: Light sound, like a ball point pen being clicked |
Boom: Low, resonant sound, like a drum roll or distant thunder |
