When the brakes are applied - the car doesn't want to stop

    If when applying your brakes the car doesn't want to stop, it will mean that either you pads or shoes are worn out - or have been overheated - or that a brake part has jammed - or that your brake servo is not working properly, all or any of these problems are very serious and urgent advice should be sort from a garage or specialist brakes centre.
