My brake pedal feels spongy/soft

    A soft or spongy brake pedal is a bad sign, it usually means that air is in the braking system, this can be caused by the brakes being overheated or a brake pipe connection being loose, it can mean a hose has been damaged, it can also mean a faulty wheel or master cylinder, either way serious and urgent advice should be sought and urgent attention should be given to the problem.
