How often should brake fluid be changed
The brake fluid should be changed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturers recommendations, which as a general rule is around 25 to 30,000 miles, it should always be changed if the brakes have ever been seriously overheated, as overheating causes steam bubbles to build up in the fluid and that's very dangerous. (Most good garages can check your fluid with a special piece of equipment to see if it is time for a change).
If in any doubt, consult a garage or a specialist centre
